Mode of action:

  1. Inactivates Existing Rust: The unstable ferric hydroxy carbonate, formed at the start of the corrosion process of iron, is transformed into an inert complex, halting the corrosion process immediately. 
  2. Formation of a Neutral Passivating Protective Coating: The formed composites combine with the unique resin in FerroGuard creating a non-permeable coating, providing anti-corrosion protection. 
  3. Function as a Primer: The cured dark grey, protective coating has an ideal structure and composition to act as a primer for future cosmetic   over-painting, that provides better adhesion

Lotus Effect

A silico polymer based completely transparent liquid, it forms thin
invisible film on the walls of capillaries and acts as 100% water repellant for porous surfaces like sand stone, concrete, cement painted concrete, asbestos sheet etc.

 

Advantages:

 

  1. LOTUS EFFECT is colorless and do not change color and surface appearance of the coated surface
  2. Shed water borne dirt and does not retain surface contamination. The treated surface remains clean
  3. Smooth film formed aids thermal insulation
  4. Help resist fungus growth by keeping the surface dry
  5. Allow passage of air and water vapor. The desirable breathing function is not affected. Therefore interior walls do not become damp.
  6. Prevent salt efflorescence, chemical erosion due to aggressive gases in the atmosphere.
  7. Prevent damage to emulsion painted surface thereby increasing life of the paint.
  8. Have outstanding hesitance to ageing.
  9. Are easy to apply and very economical, as the surface area covered per liter exceeds 100 sq ft.

Corrosion Resistant Paints

Designed for use on steel surfaces for offering superior performance in highly corrosive chemical environment. The base component contains epoxy groups which reacts with amine hardeners based on polyamides Hardener to get tough, irreversible Thermoset film at an ambient or elevated temperature. To get more anticorrosive properties zinc chrome or zinc phosphate is in corporate in base. It can be over coated with Epoxy, Chloro rubber paint and PU topcoats.

 

PU topcoat is useful for maintenance coating, structural coating as well as for floor coating. Because of rapid curing at room temperature and excellent toughness and abrasion resistance, resistance to heat, oil, Alcohol Acid & salty weather, as it has excellent adhesion to any kind of substrate like metal, wood, FRP, ABS plastics, castings, the system gives wide range of application in Aircraft finishes, transport finishes, and chemical industries.
